How things at Pixel Addiction work...

Registration is free! Register and receive your free 25 credits. Each contest costs 5 or 10 credits per entry. Review the contest rules and description and decide if you would like to create an image with those guidelines and enter it. Create your image using whatever image editing software you prefer. Submit your entry into the contest of your choice. Credits will be deducted from your account for each entry submitted. Wait for voting to begin. Vote on each entry in the contest. Voting for yourself will not improve your overall score. When voting ends, scores are tabulated and a winner is announced. Should you win a contest you receive 50% of the current jackpot amount for that contest plus your entry fee is refunded, a shiny new trophy on your contest stats page, as well as having your image displayed on the Pixel Addiction home page until the next contest ends. If you should finish a contest in second place, you'll receive 30% of the jackpot total. A third place finish is awarded 20% of the jackpot for that contest. All top three finishers will receive a trophy as well. Win, place or show in enough contests and you may never need to pay a single cent to enjoy all the contests at Pixel Addiction. If you use all your credits and do not have enough to enter contests, you can purchase more credits via the buy credits link at the top of the page. Purchasing credits helps support the site, pay for hosting and bandwidth. It is not mandatory for new members to purchase anything.
