In this tutorial I am going to show you a simple, yet effective way to make water drops on a leaf. I consider this to be a medium level tutorial.

First, find a picture of something to add dew drops to. I have chosen a leaf. Take the Elliptical Marquee Tool and select a circular area in your image where the dew drop will be located. It can be a little bit ovular, but circular drops look more realistic.

Once the area is selected, hold down Control/Command and type a "j" on the keyboard to copy then paste the area to a layer of it's own. There will then be a circular shaped cutout of the section of the leaf on a new layer. Name the layer "drop" or something cute like that.
