Hello everyone,
This place looks pretty friendly. I've seen the name, Silkenfairy, around.(Love your work)

I thought I needed a change from the old site. It was getting a little clique-y around there. One of your members dropped a hint and I picked it up. I'm kind of a novice at photo-phixen ala Photoshop. I have only Photoshop Elements at present, but it can do more than I know at present. I'd probably be intimidated by the full Photoshop. I may just try a regular photo contest to start. I'm here to learn and grow. Saving up for a real digital SLR. I have moderate experience on a regular 35mm SLR, but only recently switched to digital (a 5 megapixel Olympus zoom, fixed lens). Hope you don't mind if I ask lots of questions.

My first challenge will be to create an avatar for myself. Could be fun.

Welcome again, Suppi! No matter what level of experience you have, I'm sure you'll soon feel right at home here. We have members who range from the professional to the very beginner...so I hope you won't ever feel out of place. We're all here to help, so if you have questions, or need some help, please feel free to ask.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with...both for the photography contests, as well as the avatar. :)

Hello and welcome! Olympus cameras are wonderful. My 1st was a D460 and the focus on that baby was sweeeet! I look forward to the pics and seeing you around.

I'm still learning. I'm just slower than others.
I think it's because I'm older. hee hee :p

Welcome, Suppi! Don't hesitate to ask how to do anything! If you're not asking questions, you're not learning!
