For some reason, this has been one of my favorite type of advanced contests:
Image Restoration!
I think those appeal to me because you have to use so many different aspects of your image manipulation engines.
What'd ya think guys?
:)
Yeah .... at all levels!
Trish - you could use the one I sent you of my grandparents .....

A restoration is a good idea...but I think we need to hold on to that idea until we have a little bit larger user base.

I just got several old pics of my great-great grandmother and grandfather, and some others. I would love to use one for this too. Great idea. :)

that would be good, not one photo for restauration, many photos
like in a threa people post that they have got photos they wanted restored and than users of pa can write them a message if they need a photo for the contest
so that every contestant has a different photo for before - after
its easier to vote if you donĄt have to compare 1 photo 30 times to another
and our user get lots of photos restored :)
I stink at restoration, only tried it twice... it's hard. ;)

It IS hard, that's what makes it fun :)
I think this is a great idea AND the flagship members (all of us) get to benefit completely by having old photos restored! Who woudn't want that?
PDG patiently waits with a yardstick for the 1st person to stand

I say let's definitely put it on the Contest Schedule.

We'll put it on the schedule when we have enough users to participate. Restorations are difficult contests...and not everyone's cup of tea. We need to have enough members who are interested in that type of contest, before we add it. We will definitely do one...just not yet.

Hopefully it won't be too long. :)

The excitement - yes. I guess I'm back to staying awake 'til midnight again.
Oh well, I'll just have to sleep in alittle later. At my age I need my beauty rest. ;)

Well, maybe not. Our contest submissions period runs about 5 days now...so you'll have PLENTY of time to submit. :)
