another easy? one

yup, I need some Illustrator help again. I'm not sure what I have done, but all of a sudden whenever I click on text it all turns an ugly cyan. I'm sure there must be a simple fix, but for the life of me I can not figure it out.

I know in photoshop when things go weird one can delete the preferences file..l.can I do the same thing in Illy?

Any suggestions would be more than appreciated, as it makes the text so hard to read while typing, plus it messes up my sense of design in the overall look.

With nothing selected, click the default style in the Graphic Style panel.

If this doesn't work, select "New Art Has Basic Appearance" in the Appearance Panel flyout menu.

Chances are you simply got an odd style set.


But, yes. Resetting preferences will also cure the issue if needed.

Well Scott, the first two suggestions didn't work, but deleting the AIPrefs file did...a big thanks to you once again...much appreciated, as always:)
