I know this should be easy, but I can not find an easy way to do it. My problem is this...I need to know how to change the spacing between bulleted text items. I know I can simply change the leading, but sometimes a longer item (many words) will need to go onto two lines, but I would like to have these two lines closer together, while keeping the rest of the items with extra space. Normally I can just change the leading of say one line, but if I have say 12 items and 3 or 4 items each need two lines, its seems that I have adjust the leading all over the place and of course after a while it makes it really tough to even select the correct line as the 'I'beam can be way below or above the text I am actually trying to select.
I hope I am explaining this correctly. Basically I need to know if there is an easy way to change the spacing between lines.
Probably but the solution will be buried in some totally obscure place.
What programme are you working in/with?

Hi Dave, this is in Illustrator, but I think I have just figured out a work around...I have simply added a carriage return after the the first line of an item then added a blank space to that line and adjusted my leading for it. This keeps the rest as they were, so it seems to work out.
So I guess my problem is solved, but inspired by you Dave:) thanks!
Always a pleasure to be of service :)

Gee that's how I have solved the problem in Word but didn't realize it would be the answer for Illustrator too.

Amazing how the simplest of things are sometimes never explained in the manuals.
