Hi how would you make Blends and other stuff on Paint Shop Pro.
Eg. How would you make something like this

Assuming the cityscape is the background image then the 3 girls have (presumably been selected from other images) been added as a new layer(s) to that background and their opacity reduced to less than 100% so that the city shows through them slightly. The text has then been added as another layer or set of layers on top of those of the girls again with it's opacity reduced below 100% so that both the girls and the cityscape show through the text. Adding the coloured border can be done simple by selecting "Image > Add Border" after setting the background colour to the required border colour repeating for each colour used, it is possible that the middle border (gray) has had a chisel effect added or a one width pixel border in the middle of two gray borders.

BTW2 - Vb code tags do not work in your signature line

thank you, is there anyway you could do a tutorial on other stuff you could do on paintshop, cos all i've seen is colorizations - got the hang of that now
Well, I hope there's a colorisation contest coming up for you ....
Most photoshop tutorials/techniques can be adapted to paintshop though sometimes a fair bit of imaginative alternatives are called for :)
Biggest tip I can give you is learn how to use layers and masks .... and use them!
