I have been trying to use the Pack for CD feature in PowerPoint.

While it is very cool that the linked files are also included in the pack, it's not so cool that when it's played through PowerPoint VIEWER a white screen appears and the chosen music plays -- but nothing else.

Does anyone know why this is happening??? After the first slide, it runs -- but it's clunky with none of the transitions I programed.

Any thoughts???

You may want to try using the "save as show" command instead. "Embed" your sound and video clip files. Your "show" can be copied and viewed ala CD. I've had much success with this. Good luck.

David, that's good advice in the post above (Beedybee) - I've experienced if you Pack for CD, you need to "unpack" on the hard drive because there is just too much lag to run it on the CD and access video and music etc.

good luck!
