Comments on entries

Hey everyone; I've made comments on most all contests that I've entered and I started noticing that they are not showing up. Also, I started getting disconnected again. Like by the time I get this written, I'll probably have gotten the boot. Can someone please tell me how I can stop this?

I worded that wrong: It should say that I've made comments on entries other than my own.

delete all cookies, log out, relaunch the browser, and log back in. That may help.

In situations like this I generally suggest going to a cemetary and swinging a dead cat eight times over your head (operative word DEAD...cause it's too hard on the living ones) as you chant over and over "I'm sorry...really REALLY sorry....." or words to that effect.

But this situation probably calls for stronger measures. Not only are you getting booted...but your comments are ALSO being wiped out. You get a dead elephant, go to a cemetary at 2:00 a.m. and swing it over your head by its tail and chant "Scott did it...it was Scott.........and Chris too.....they all did it.........and Silky.........and especially that Dave character...................." Perhaps the Angel of Internet Death will pass you by.

If that doesn't work, try the deleting cookies and relaunching thingie.

Too funny! Here I am with sciatica and you want me to hurl an elephant! By God, you're sadistic!! You do realize that I'm OLDER than you (saw your other thread) and the effort could ruin this poor old body for good! It's just a conspiracy! You want me out of commission just so you can take advantage of the granny. I won't be at the graveyard; this town is just to small. You can't even fart here without someone hearing it. They'd think I'd gone totally mad and I would never see the sunshine again. Worse still, I wouldn't be able to see yer smilin' faces anymore. I wouldn't want to live!
And then, I'd have to commit suicide; do you really want that for this already decrepit, miserable old woman? Wait don't answer that! :) Oh and yes, it probably was Dave! :) I'm gonna get one on him one of these day, when he's least expecting it :) I'm gonna try posting this now and if it doesn't work, do you think you could come up with a solution that is a little less extreme?

Crap, it didn't work! I timmed out again. Maybe I'll have to learn to assemble my thoughts and type a lot faster. As it is right now, I posted this reply and had to log in again. So I had to copy and paste the message before timing out again. Any suggestions?

I guess it just didnt work Scott. Same thing happens when I'm viewing contests and making comments. I just can't stay connected. :(

Are you using AOL rumple?

No AOL , am using Manitoba Telephone System server and am running enigma browser...maybe it's the browser ...whatever is doing it boots me and it is terribly frustrating :( I've allowed this site and third party cookies from this site through my virus protection, but can't figure out why its doing it. It seems worse lately.

PS doesn't happen on other sites.
