Indesgin??

Anyone familiar with Indesign? I am making the switch from Adobe Pagemaker and will only have the summer to learn the program well enough to teach it and put together a yearbook for next year. I have not had a chance to play with it yet and am wondering what are some of the differences.

I use Indesign daily Jenn.

I switched from Xpress about 3 years ago. And I am familiar somewhat with pagemaker 6 or earlier. It's a real easy transition. The only thing you really have to do is learn where things are. The basics are pretty much the same.

... of course, there are many more advanced features in Indesign to learn but they are pretty intuitive.

yea i love indesign, even tho i use quark at work b/c i have to haha, but i made the switch from quark to indesign about 3 years ago as well, and its sooo much easier and being in the adobe family, the shortcuts are mostly the same! you will have no problem wutsoever learning it, have fun!
