View Full Version : Determined to discuss Lost...Yup

So... the only show I watch is over for the season. Lost ended with a buncha bangs last night.
I have to say -- to the three or four other people who apparently follow this show -- that I really felt like the mystique is starting to slide off this program. Not enough new "stuff"...and like anything else that doesn't grow...it starts to look like an immitation of itself.
That aside: I am still REALLY interested in who the Others are...and what's going on behind the most compelling character....Henry.
Does anyone else wonder what happened with those freaking Polar Bear things...and what exactly ate the pilot.......and...and.........
oh my God. I have to get out more.
David
There was a brief discussion at the start of Season 2 and the overall opinion then was the need for answers ... looks like nothing much has changed :)

Not much revealed in the final this week. Just more questions, and nothing is tying in to the original series. I don't mind more mystery but solve the the other mysteries before starting another.

I watch Lost...religiously...and was a bit disappointed that more of my questions from the previous season weren't answered. I'm still basically as confused as I ever was...except that I now know what caused the plane to crash. What I can't figure out is how all these people, with such different lives, have all co-mingled with one another in some way or another before they even got to the island.
Anyway...I'll watch next season, and continue to hope at some point a light bulb will appear over my ever dark mind, and I'll finally get it! :D

THEY NEVER ANSWER ANYTHING!!!! Bastards, The season finally answered 3 questions. What's "the button" do, what happened if you don't push it. And will Michael get Walt back. That's it! I can't believe that's it! Two season and that's all they've answered!

Lost is a favorite of mine too. I was a bit pissed about the 2-hour finally stuff, that’s a lot of time!!! For what I think had a lot left unsaid for a finally, but that’s OK I like trying to figure out the puzzle :D
@David, I think the Polar Bear was manifested by Walt. If you remember Michel burned a comic book of walt’s that feathered a Polar Bear on the cover. ;)

Oooo...there's a theory, Chris.
My wife and I have speculated that there are three writers in a room somewhere, well equipped with Pizza Pops and Pop Tarts and infinite supplies of Dr. Pepper making the stories up as they go along.
"Ummm....well...we could make this hatch and a bunch of buttons--"
"--yeah. And a dinosarur thing..."
"YEAH! And we could get Evangeline to wear a tank top....all the time."
(LONG CONTEMPLATIVE SILENCE)
"Yeah."
"Uh huh."
".....wow."
(LOOOOONG SILENCE)
"Now about the dinosaur."
"...what dinosaur???"

Four toed ancient foot statue. That's what I want to know about, dang it! Is Fenry(fake Henry) really Him?? Why Jack, Kate and Sawyer????
I admittedly just got hooked...have only caught a few of the 1st season, and the last few of this one. The last few episodes have really hooked me though, so I've read up at the lostpedia wiki. :D
Lots of questions, lots of answers....lots of waiting. *sigh*

Poor Evengeline. All that wreckage and she could only find a suitcase with clothes too small for her.
That's the foot of the statue in Jason and the Argonaughts. Watch.. Jason will appear next season :)
