Happy, could links be added to the above post so it's easy to track down the nominated prey.
Opps, I see the links now at the top. I tried to delete this message, but didn't seem to be able to figure out how.
I liked the Cathedral best... I just love the wasy the light breaks between the trees!

Thanks for staging the Hunt, Happy! It was loads of fun and agony...just the way it should be :) I'm glad you decided to do it and I appreciate the time you spent on the preparations and posting all of this. I hope you're STILL "Happy!" :)
Cheers,

Although each photo has its own special qualities, the Fish one is my favorite. I love the colors! and the flowing fins of the fish add lots of visual interest.

It's interesting just what makes a good photo. Sometimes you have two shots of basically the same subject, and one's hot, and one's not. Sometimes I surprise myself with the effect of cropping. I'll zoom in on an area to look at it and go ," Wow, that looks a lot better. Why didn't I think of doing that?"
They're all great shots. Personally, My favorite is the Morning Dove shot. The dove's color so perfectly matches the fence, and it's perched up there like some kind of ornament. Sweet.

Hi D2.
Thanks for the comments on the Morning Dove, but mainly I'm gratefull to the Dove for sitting still long enough to take the shot!
Your Cathedral is pretty awesome as well, that is an effect I've been trying to capture myself.
I've added a second picture of the 'tame' Dove, he came back for a visit this evening, I'm amazed at how close I could get!

Excellent capture Tuggie!
We have a pair of wood pigeons (grey & green) that frequent our garden .... we thought they were going to nest in our laburnum tree but it doesn't look like they have .... they sit on the fence too .... and do naughty things now and then. My wife will kill them if they do naughty things on her washing!
