I've tried it and the curves adjustment does not translate to psp (7) as far as I can work out.

Okay ... lets try this ....

Choose your image .... I've chosen a pic of the back of Michelangelo's David (no naughty bits!) and I've done this very quickly so no guarantees it works for everything and you may have to play around with the settings I quote depending on all kinds of factors .....

1) Select (by lasso tool) the statue and promote the selection to a new layer.

2) Clean up the selection remembering holes for the gaps between body and arm etc.

3) Duplicate 3 copies of the statue layer.

4) On the first (lowest layer) use the chrome effect with these settings :-
Flaws 2
Brightness 5
Original Colour Box - unchecked
Colour Hex #9E9018 RGB 158,144,24 HSL 38,188,91
leave the layer opacity at 100%

5) On the second layer colourize the selection :-
Hue 31
Saturation 140
reduce the layer opacity to 75%

6) On the third layer (topmost) change the layer blend mode to "hard light" and reduce the layer opacity to 50%

7) Finish off ... copy merge the layers into a single layer.

method is copyright [pa] and me .... :)

I've done this very quickly let me know how yours comes out ....

Before and after images ...
