Wuts everyones opinion on Apples refurbished sales? I was looking to get a G5 but really dont have the money to spend on a brand spanking new one, so I was browsing that section on the site and saw some good prices. Thanks for any advice in advance!

You can get one for a mere £1,800 but you gotta be quick

Ebay UK (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/APPLE-POWERMAC-G5-2-7GHz-DUAL-500GB-4GBRAM-SUPERDRIVE_W0QQitemZ8775046389QQcategoryZ4607QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

I would not buy a computer from Ebay.. but that's me.

D.. All I've ever bought for personal use are refurbished Macs. If you get them from Apple they are solid machines and Apple will correct any issue you may have. It's a fantastic way to stay relatively current without spending the money on a brand new machine.

When I go shopping for a new machine, there's only one place I look:
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/6224003/wo/iqn3gw42w5MX2OGj6Vbo7Vs7Tc5/0.0.19.1.0.8.63.0.0.0.0.0.0.3.1.1.0?94,60

Currently I'm on a refurbished Dual 1.8 ghz G% and have not had a single issue with it since I got it (Apr 05).

Thanks Scott! yea thats the place i was looking (and yea i wouldnt trust buying a computer from Ebay either). And the fact that Apple warranties them is even better! I was always doubtful about buying one, dont really know why, but now I'm not, thanks again!
