...that we try to arrange a chat session with as many of our members as we can. That way we can let all the new members get a chance to know all us old members...so they'll feel as comfortable here as an old pair of shoes....non-smelly shoes of course, but shoes nonetheless. :)

Strangely she likes a drinkie or two, too! :)

Yeah BT, we have an established IRC chat room, we had the link on the site for a while but took it down because at the time, The Admins would just sit there all alone waiting for a member to come in. The link will be back on the site as soon as there is enough interest.


Silky, I like the idea for a live chat session, we'll need to plan a date and time so everyone can join in.

I like that idea TC. Everytime I come into Pixel...I can't find anyone here. I'm all alone in this place. I enjoy reading all the conversations and would love to join in too, but I feel like I'm talking to a wall. I think I hear echoes in here....LOL

What time do you usually come around? I'm here almost all day...off and on...starting about 8:30 in the morning until I sign off my computer at night, which is usually around 12:00.

Maybe everyone could list in this thread when would be a good chat time for them (I know you guys in the UK are 6 hours ahead, so maybe you could list the latest you could join us for a bit). I think it would give us all a chance to know each other a bit better...and hopefully make some of the newer members grow more comfortable with yakking at us in the forums. :)

I'm all over the place. Depends how cheap the beer is or how much work I have to do. But I guess 1am is about my latest also

Weekdays: 7PM Eastern to around 10PM, I could fit that in.
Weekends: almost anytime will do for me.

Sure thing! It might be easiest, and best for everyone, if we try to pick a weekend night...Friday or Saturday...so that those in a different time zone might be able to stick around longer. :)

That would be really great Silky - I'm a nightmare the next day if i stay up too late on a school night! :)
