I want to put a "little" movie (300k) I made on the home page of my web site. Would that be nutz?

As Padwan and GP said, just make sure you put a "skip" option somewhere... I don't think you should worry about the bandwith, cause 300K is not much, especially for a movie!

Btw, how come it has such a small size? is it a flash movie? I'd love to see it ;)

Yeah I can't see anything wrong with doing that. If it's for Download ".raw" it, if it's going to be streamed make sure the user have to press a button for it to play, or if its gonna be an into place a skip Doohickey :D

300 k is a bit of a heavy home page. A better alternative is to promote the move well on the home page and allow users to click to view it.
