the effect as used in many pics of che guerra

hi.
can anybody guide me to how to modify the face of any person into the one used in many popular pictures of 'Che Guerra'- the ones in which highlights are used.
plz help me out- i'm desperately looking for i.

Simple method ....

reduce image to 2 colors only (black and white) then increase to maximum number of colors. Select white area you wish to change to red using lasso tool. Flood fill with red. Job done ....

"Image -> Adjustments -> Threshold" might do the trick..

Or..... ... photoshop: filter/others/maximum ... with a set of +- 128 can do it.
