I ran across this great article in Rangefinder Magazine. I found that it is appropriate not only for photo print competition, but even for entering contests in Photography or Photomanipulation contests here. The concepts are the same :)

That was awesome, thanks Jaygre. That applies to so much more than just photography as you mentioned. I picked up some things that can help me make my designs even better, although it means more work, in the long run the overall or "big picture" will be that much better.

That is almost grounds for a "sticky" post.
