photo contest suggestion

I know that when it is cold and dark, it is tough to get out to take pictures of specific things, but how about a really general photo contest of texture. I think that texture is so important to so many photographs, and one could take pics of anything from, bricks to ice, to weathered paint or wood, bark...the list could go on and on.

You are so right Burndog, textures play a huge part in photography and all images in general. Great idea! :)

Then there's :- a colour (white!), a shape (square), a number (five)
All are possible no matter what the weather.
