Is there a way to open Quark Express files on Photoshop (by importing them, not just taking a screen shot?) ;)

File/save as eps FROM QUARK... you lose your layers, but got a transparency option for the white background. Be sure you got the same fonts installed on the destination puter.
pix/inch will be asked when opening: this allow you to increase resolution.
I dunno for importing the stuff, but there's surely a good soul on the earth/net who will convert your files ;)

Export to PDF is generally a little more stable.
As swillox eluded to, all content will be rasterized. There's no way to keep elements editable from Xpress to Photoshop.

Indeed, I forgot about the pdf (isn't an eps much lighter in wheight ? didn't knew it was more stable...).
Oh, and yes, ... saving in eps is only possible page by page !

By nature either the eps or pdf are stable formats. However, when speaking of Xpress... it's "Export to eps" feature can be less stable and reliable than exporting to PDF.

So if it's rasterized, I could re-create the layers in PS if there were no gradients.
That would work. Thanks a ton for the advice.
Anyone got an old version of Quark they wanna' unload? ;)

'get rid of' - 'sell' - 'send to me'
