Noob here

Hello all!

I've been lurking for about a month now - just had to get in on the action. I love that this site gets me thinking in new directions, it encourages everyone to test the waters & try something new!

I was hesitant at first, worried that my skills were not up to par. But I see that you all are very kind and helpful. Instead of unkindly criticizing people's entries, you praise their strengths and encourage them to do better work next time.

I entered my first contest yesterday, and am excited to enter many others! Looking forward to your support and encouragement as I learn more & more. Who knows, perhaps I can help someone out someday : )

Hi there Super Squirrel! yeah i've seen you around and wonderin when will you introduce yourself. Glad to know that you decided to participate!

Skill is not an issue here! some of us (including yours truly :D) have started with a very little knowledge in PS. but because of the very helpful, talented and most of all very nice people, i've learned alot of things in PS! you just need to have the willingness to learn :)

Hi and welcome to PA, Super Squirrel! I'm glad you've decided to step out of the shadows and into the light of the forums! You've also taken a step into the contests...which is always a great place to start! I think you'll find that you can learn just about anything you want here at PA. And what makes it better is that you'll learn from the best. Never be afraid to ask for input, constructive criticism, or critiques on your entries. It's the best way to learn and grow!
