Let's go for it.

I haven't done one in ages, so let's keep it a simple picture.
I don't know your timing, so how about submit in 2 days, 2 day vote, bragging rights and the usual 10 credit entry fee.

This one hasn't been set up because we don't have all the information. Until you give us the final go ahead with all the information, this match won't get posted.

EDIT: I see that the information is up there a ways. Sorry this hasn't been set up yet. We'll get to it as soon as one of the cage match admins has a sec. Sorry guys.

This one was missed because the thread title didn't get altered. We'll get it set so it posts tonight at midnight when contests roll over. I would, however, suggest a one day extension on the submission time so the submit timeframe would be 11/01 to 11/02 and vote 11/03 to 11/04.

Do you want to change the dates for submission and voting before this is set up?

flondo
10/31/2005, 06:40 PM
There seems to be no prob - I've been communicating with the others by PM today

Maiden

An extra day wouldn't go astray, I can do it in the said time-frame but as I said to Sil be nice to have a lil more just to do more maybe.....either way I'm cheasy ;)

In the business world, when a client gives you a date and time and you agree, that's it.
Unless there is a real problem, I think we should stick to the original timeframe.

However, this isn't the business world and the other contestants aren't your clients. I thought we were here to have fun. Would any true harm come to extending it a day?

Maiden

TY Happy......

As I said either way eh....

flondo

A short time frame is part of the fun!

I think it's interesting to see what people can do under pressure.

I'm not trying to be a big meanie, btw

Sometimes the fun needs to be extended. :)

As Happy said, this isn't the 'business' world. Our admins don't receive compensation, so if a match needs to be moved ahead a day to accomodate others...that's what'll have to happen.

Since the admins wish to postpone this contest - go ahead - just let me know when it will happen.

I did not intend this to become a problem for anyone. The short time frame WAS intentional, as I said, I think it's interesting to see what people can do under pressure. Sometimes the best work is done that way.

And I do appreciate the time that the admins take with the site. (thanks and slurpy kisses)

The contest has been set up, ready to roll. Instead of one submit day, Nov. 1 - there will be two, with submissions ending on November 2 at midnight - two days voting as usual.

Flondo, you must remember that contest set up takes work by the admins. I realize short time frames are fun, but they are not always feasible because of the work involved to create the contest.
