I just got a job converting a whole whack of graphics files which were done on a Mac to Windows. The problem is that I have no idea how to do this. I seem to remember something about a Windows interface which will read Mac... is this possible? Is there some software I should be downloading, or do I need to buy a Mac (good excuse to do so ;) ?)

Unfortunately I can not help with the first part of your question, however I can say, of coarse you should buy a MAC ;)!

What kind of "graphics"? For Photoshop and raster images it doesn't matter. a tiff is a tiff a psd is a psd regardless of platform.

That's what I thought at first, but I was told they needed to be 'converted'. Despite my 'religious' beliefs about Mac or Windows, I said, "No problem!" but then started to second guess myself thinking I was gonna' get into something enormous and not be able to do it.
Thanks for the confirmation, though. I've never used a Mac. - *Audible GASP* - :)
As for my 'religious' beliefs, I use Windows with PS7 and it works pretty well, but it's a poor carpenter who blames his/her tools, so whatever the platform, the result can be excellent, if ya' know how to chop. ;)

well if they are tiff images there's the PC and Mac byte order option. But Photoshop is capable of reading either byte order on either platform. I guess it might make a difference if they are tiffs and not being used with Photoshop.

PShop is all they use and the question confused me as well. I don't think they would be using tiffs, though. Probably just psds. I guess I just wasn't sure I could open them if they were done on a Mac. Thanks for clearing that up for me, I'll wake up a little smarter tomorrow (as I find I often do after visiting this site.) :)
ps - I did a sketch in Flash and had to screen save it to open it in PS. Is there another way?
