I have been trying to save an illy file to web and I get the following message. Rasterized image exceeds save to web. In checking the image it is 1.75 Mb which is not overly large.
Question: How do I save this as a JPG or GIF since illy does not have a Save As for either?
Would saving to PSD help?

file>export>(select your file type)
Well I know I can convert a PSD file to JPG format without too much difficulty. I just wouldnt want a huge file being sent to me by email. (I don't use Photoshop or Illustrator)

File Save For web usually does the trick. If that's not working well you can try opening the Illustrator file with Photoshop (it will rasterize) then use File Save for web in Photoshop.

Thanks for the comments. I forgot to mention that it would not export either.
I found the problem but I cannot determine how it happened. I viewed the layers palette (DUH!! when in doubt go look) I found two layers labeled Image. What would cause this (besides a dumb pen pusher) ??
