Can't re-get Anchor points

I created a shape with my pen tool, the thing is 24 hours later when I went back to my shape that I created because I had to make a modification to the shape I can't get the the anchor points. I tried the Selection Tool, Direct Selection Tool and Pen Tool and no luck.

Please help !

I don't understand why you couldn't "re-get" the anchor points. Do you get errors? if so what errors? How did you save the file? what version of Illustrator and what Operating System?

try command-option-2 (or pc: ctrl-alt): it unlocks the object. Also unlocking the appropriate layer might help.
