Helloooo everyone.

I've added a new feature, The PixelStash.
You will see a link to it on the home page next to the Top Images link.

What the stash is:
This is a gallery which shows all photographs which have been approved for reuse by the photographer in a PHOTOSHOP contest. So, if you need source pics... you might check the PixelStash.

There is also a link on the PixelStash page to allow you to upload photographs you wish to donate for use. Check it out :)

And thanks to all that donate!

Thanx for another wonderful addition to the site & also to those that share their pics with us to use, I'll be more than willing to share any of mine though I do believe the quality is lacking ;)

Was thinking maybe could also have a "request line" so to say where we could put up idea's of that which we wish to source and maybe our own could come up with it....

Just an idea.....

Well, we don't want to become a "stock photography site". Basically these are just images users want to share, it's not really an area for requests. And due to how it's going to fill up disk space if someone uploads 10mb of their vacation photos we're going to have to be somewhat selective of the uploads.

I wonder who he means? :.

Terrific addition, you dynamic duo! I'm not sure what size to upload, though. Are there dimensions and byte perameters? Thanks,

Joanie

It's still best to keep it down to 1000 pixels wide, and the size should be no larger than 200 kb. :)

If you aren't entering the photo in a contest, on the home page (or on the forum home page), in the nav bar near the left side of the page, you'll see a link for "PixelStash". Click that link and in the upper right hand corner of the upload window you'll see the word "Contribute". Click that, and voila...fill in the blanks. If you are using a photo that you are uploading to a contest, there's a box on the upload page that gives permission for the photo to be used in PS contests...just check that box.

Basically.. if you're entering a photography contest, there's an option to automatically add it to the stash when you enter. Otherwise go to the stash page.

Please remember when you're uploading photos to the PixelStash, they MUST be photos that could be useful in a photoshop contest. In other words, don't upload photos simply because they are good photographs...think about what they could be used for in a Photoshop contest, and if you can't think of anything...don't upload it.

Also, please do NOT be offended if you upload a photo and it gets deleted. We'll be keeping an eye on the uploads, and if we feel a photo that has been uploaded wouldn't be useful for a PS contest, we'll delete it.

Thanks in advance for all your donations!
