Hi there,...
since the last disaster I went thrue, microsoxt wants to update my system more and more...
I know this might sound late to some, but I'm in doubt when it now ask to install service pack 2.
I'm not certain but I think I heard some bad stories about it, so, what do you think? is it safe for install or is is better to stay at this point?

Swillox, you did indeed hear some horror stories about service pack 2. Before I got my Mac I too hesitated in updating to service pack 2. In fact, I never did, especially because of all the problems people had told me they'd had. However, I'd suggest going to the Windows Update site to check it out. I believe there's a link there somewhere that tells you what to do to prepare your machine for updating. You need to make sure you have all the updated drivers, etc. I wouldn't do it without some preparation first...but after following all their advice regarding the update, I think you should be okay.

The update can cause some problems, But is fixes a lot too. If I were you I would update.
One thing MS dose and dosen't tell you about is when you install the new service pack they scan your computer for pirated music and software. Noow even if you have perfectly legal music and software MS is keeping track and taking note. Why? I don't know, and that makes me nervous.
MS= Big Brother ;)
