Riding on the back of Jolt's great news about his work in the book and magazine...

I have had an image published! Not quite as prestigeous as Jolt's, just a readers' contest but it is a whole page in the magazine. I don't think it's one that comes out Stateside though. It's called Digital Photography Techniques (I've got a subscription, so I get it early but for the UK bods here, it's out in the next few days) and focuses on doing stuff to pictures. This is the one I've had included, sadly, it didn't win but it's the taking part that counts.

Thanks Jolt!

It was fun to make. Yes, I cheated, it's two images of the scene, one with Jules, one without - but hey, they were after images, not techniques ;)

Ha, I should've known you wouldn't be able to resist that one Dave! :p

Actually, even my Mum has made that joke about it, I guess it's kind of unavoidable! :bang:

And Trin - looky, Dave spells it with 'Y' - are you SURE that sort of 'groyne' is also spelt 'groin', if you know what i mean?!?

Just for the record...

The spelling with a Y is obsolete.

Was more to see if I/DPT had made a mistake, I was unsure of the spelling when I wrote them the descriptive email :/
