Here's my idea. Since holidays are few and far beween this time of year - why not have a theme for a week. Like "Welcome to Old West week here at PixelAddiction!" and have all the contests reflect a western theme. like a cactus for the FF contest, Chop together a Wanted poster for the beginner contest, etc... Lots of ideas to work with there. or maybe an underwater theme, a space/sci-fi theme, or even a decade theme?

Super idea Sam. I'm not sure what amount of work that would give the admins to do it weekly, but maybe once a month - I don't know, but it sounds great. If it isn't workable on the formal level, maybe in the Tennis Section -

lol. yeah I wouldn't suppose weekly would be practical. just once might be fun to try though to break up the monotony of the summer months.

Yup, they're always talking on the news about August being the month reporters hate most, nobody in DC to report on.....

This would be okay for maybe one round of contests...but I don't know if we could keep coming up with new contests about the old west, for example, for a whole week...:) That's a lot of horses and cows. :D

But, maybe we can find something else to use to persuade you to start entering again, Sam. ;)

That does sound cool Maiden, but I wanted to bump this thread for the wanted poster idea 1cow had. You could use a politician,celebrity or notorious criminal (or any combination thereof) and make up an appropriate crime.
Heck, just between OJ, MJ, Martha, and Tyson, we'd have a field day.
