Sil and Dave, why would you come into a thread marked "not spoilered" and say don't tell me :) You're gonna make me look up the damn spoiler tag now

Jolt, RE was an awesome horror flick to watch with my kids. I have about the same maturity level as them and we really got into it. Kinda like I got into terminator with my dad when i was around the same age.

I only just watched the 3rd episode. All I will say is it works as a film in its own right but as a triqual (is that a word..it is now), it doesn't do so well. Mind you, that applied to the 2nd one too.

With regard to ResEvil, I haven't seen it all but have to say, I preferred 28 Days Later.

Did someone say 28 days later? I loved that movie. It made me feel all spooked out. Especially the part where he's walking around in the beginning.

I can't wait for this one...

28 days is a real doom and gloom British film, we don't always get it right but when we do.....

After watching the end of the matrix, I felt they really dropped the ball in the 2nd and 3rd movies (obviously). It was watchable, had a good story, and definitely had parts that were reminiscent of the original. Major flaw though was that 80% took place in the real world as opposed to the matrix. the matrix is where all the cool stuff happened. Also, they added so many people to the story, most of whom I didn't care about as characters. Even up until the 2nd half of the last movie tyhey were adding people that were supposed to be important.

The first movie had like 6 or 7 main people and pretty much one bad guy. That worked for me.

As for the ending, I liked the way neo defeated smith, but hated the conclusion. They just said that the war was over (like they just all of a sudden knew this and felt safe????) and that was it. No wrap up? No scrolling text explaining how man and machine would coexist peacefully? Weak, man!

I agree with Claven. I think the 1st was a good, enjoyable film. The 2nd was too far up itself with pseudo-philosophy to be any good. And the 3rd was just pretty pants. Bit of a let down really!

As for RE, well, it had a redeeming quality ;)
