Ready for my first cage match

I'm new to this site and not exactly really sure about how to go setting up one of these cage matches. Anyway, anyone intrested in taking on the new kid let me know and we can work out some ground rules.

Hi Sji,

Basically.. answer these questions once you find a competitor:

- Participants?: (someone vs. someone)
- Type of Contest: (photoshop,photography,illustration,etc.)
- Theme or Description: (Details and Descriptions)
- Submission Time? (When do entries need to be done by?)
- Will Participant's Vote? No, participants will not vote
- What are the stakes? (losatar, bragging rights, etc.)

Then post the answers and message an admin (Or just edit your first post here and change the thread title) to let us know you're ready. And We'll (meaning Newby probably) will get it all set up for you.

Hi and welcome, Sjl! I'm sure you'll find someone who's more than happy to take you on in a cage match! As Jolt posted above, once you find an opponent and decide what you want your match to be, post the above information and it'll be set up for you. It's nice to see you jumping right into the fray...:D Grab yourself an avatar and stay awhile...there are lots of things to do here at PA, and our members are all really great people! Most importantly...have fun!

I just got my butt kicked by abusedcarling in my first cagematch, but i'm up for another challenge. what kind of contest do you have in mind...

Cool....To keep each of our creative options open I'd like to use a general topic like "nature," or something along those lines. I'm up for some photomanipulation and or illustration. With my schedual I'd like to have some time to put it together. Let me know what ideas you have or if this sounds okay to you.

lets do the photomanipulation. nature? we can do an elements thing? we could pick one of earths elements like earth, wind, fire or water and manipulate it into a photo. or did you want someone from p.a to supply some kind of nature pic then we manipulate it anyway we want?

Yeah, I'm up for letting PA supply a photo that we then manipulate how we like. Do you want the photo they supply to be the "base" image, or something similar to the duck contest where you some how incorporate that image into another. Or does that not matter?

o.k. cool we can do a freestyle match. it doesn't matter how we chop it just as long as the whole image or part of it is incorporated into the final piece. do you still want it to be a nature pic? or will we use any photo a fellow p.a. member supplies?

If there is a larger version of that picture it'll work for me. I don't know the rules on more than two players, I guess you need approval or something. I'd like to see four people.

With cage matches we're pretty lenient about the number who participate. Two, four...whatever you guys want. :)
