Hi, I've heard that Photoshop can generate slide shows ready to upload to a web page.
Is this true and if so how?

I have Elements 2 and PS 7

Thanks in advance.

It looks like you need Elements 3

But I know nothing about Photoshop, hopefully one of our gurus will give you a more certain answer than I can.

OK, here you go-

First start by putting all of the photos you want in your slideshow in a folder on your hard drive, name the folder something you can remember.

Now go Photoshop, and go to File-Automate-PDF Presentation

Browse to the folder you created, select the all the files you put in the folder, Make shure thet the output options are set to prescription, Then Seve it where you like.

And that how you create a PDF Presentation in Photoshop. :)

Or File > Automate > Web Gallery

Pick a folder full of your images
Pick a destination folder
click go!

You can always load them into a Powerpoint Presentation (Microsoft word)

It allows editing and type and timing of each slide and.....

and it's easy.

O/k I made a slide show, pretty darn good too I might say. But when I upload to my web page there are no photos, only the titles, what am I doing wrong?

Tuggie.. got a link... it's probably just a link issue within the slideshow.

as Jolt said,... automate, web gallery, pick a folder. it's more a browseshow than a slide one but I'm not certain on how to link it right into an existing page,... actually you'll end up with a "frameset.html" file wich give's you a tiny preview of all in a bottom frame and a "view" in the main frame.

btw, I never got a "full view" option, seems like PS is resizing without leaving the pic intact somewhere but in it's original folder. anyone a trick ?

Hi.

I didn't upload the image folder, how would I do that?

I would be intersted in knowing how to get a full screen image over the web, can anyone explain how?

I have one suggestion that might save you a little frustration. Before you load the slide show on the web you can test it by opening the index page from your browser. That way you can check to make sure all links are working as they should prior all the upload time.
If everything looks good then upload the entire folder to your server. ie: keep everything in the folder you created for the slideshow and upload it.

Once its on your server connect a link to the index page and it should work.

Here is one I put up using PS CS. http://high5photo.com/Cubs%20Slideshow/index.htm

Good Luck
