For some odd reason when I go to Filter -> Render -> Lighting Effects, I no longer can access the preset lighting effects in PS 7. The files are still there in the directory "lighting styles" just like always, I just can't access them.
When I start the filter, I have a blank in the box where you would be able to load the style, and furthermore I can not save a lighting style.
Can't find any setting in the Preferences that talks about this.
Any ideas??
Thanks!

This is apparently connected with Windows XP’s Indexing Service. In Explorer, go to the subfolder found at Plugins > Filters > Lighting Styles. Right-click on this folder, and choose Properties. Under the General tab, click Advanced, then check the box that says 'For faster searching, allow Index Service to index this folder. After rebooting your computer, check to see if this has corrected the problem.
Hope this hepls.

Okay, thanks! I'll try that. I did recently turn off the indexing service "feature"
Edit: Yeah! That worked, Thank! I turned on Index Service for my Adobe (and subfolders) folder only and worked like a charm. Thanks again
