photoshop colors

ok i know this is going to sound really dumb but somehow i lost the default color settings in pscs and cant get them back. i used to be able to chose a color i wanted within a particular spectrum ( green red blue etc) all the way from white to black and all in between but now i cant find that spot? this probably isnt explained where you know what im talking about but if anyone can figure out what im asking for and help please do lol thanks

Is it that you can't find the color picker or the color in the picker is different?

Hi msfrigyfrog - I'm not sure this is what you want but go to "Window" in your tool bar and click on "Swatches" or "Color" - If what you are looking for is either of these two, then click on the little black arrow at the top of the Palette, that will give you more options. On the "Swatches" option, you can click "Reset" and that will put you back to the default setting. Hope this helps. :)

if it doesn't look similar to this, make certain the radio button next to H is checked. Any other open may make the picker look unfamiliar to you.
