Hi there,
I'm a newbie... so be gentle...
I'm currently following the tutorial for the 'advanced overlay' by Chris49 and have got the liquify part but I don't seem to have the mask options on there...I am using pS7.. am I being retarded....prehaps this is just a CS feature... can someone tell me before I go mad...

Hi slinkywhippet,
The mask feature Chris refers to is a Photoshop CS and CS2 feature only, unfortunately. I believe you can still use the liquify though. It will just take a little more work. You'll have to manually use the liquify tool on the areas of the object overlay only.

Hay slinkywhippet. In PS7 the Liquify filter is a bit simpler then it CS but the future is still there.
-Now go in to the liquefy filter
-Turn on the backdrop toggle
-Go to the [color=red]"frozen area"[/color] section and alpha channel 1 this creates the quick mask.
-Now select the shift pixel tool
...and then so on.
