Adding links

I entered my first contest the other day (8th of 15. Not bad, and a great learning experience). This really does not need a tutorial, but I figured this was the best place to get and share the info.

How do you paste a link in your description? I feel I could have done a little better if people had the opportunity to compare the 2 originals. I could post the web address but it is usually too long. How do I hyperlink (if that is the correct term) a word to a web page?

Hi Joe,

when entering use the following;

[ url ]http://www.domain.com/directory/file.jpg[ /url ]

or for a text link that goes to the url use this:

[ url=http://www.domain.com/directory/file.jpg ] text you want to display here [ /url ]

remove the spaces and it should work for you.
