Liquify mysitfies me

I can't figue out the liquify thingy, when I tried, it came up something like the extract box, but with no image. Can anyone help please?

Check your zoom factor (bottom left,) then, when you can see your image, click on the finger icon (top-left) to liquify. You can also click and hold on the screen to drag your image over to where you can see it if you have the hand icon selected. Does this help, or is it something else?

I am not sure, I see there is a liquify option uder Filters. That brings up a box with lots of options. Guess I had better go and fiddle around a bit. Thanks.

You might have an empty/wrong layer selected. That's why it isn't bringing anything up.
