photo in motion

I have pictures of my band and I want to give the feel of movement to hands on the keyboard, and the head of the harmonica player. The Motion Blur tutorials I've found are specific to cars and bikes, and I know with enough trial and error I could figure out how to do bodyparts but I sure would be greatful if someone could create or lead me to a tutorial that walks me through it.

Hi deborah,

For people I've found what works best is to duplicate your layer. Apply a blur either motion or gaussian depending upon the image. Then mask the blur layer and hid some of the blurring with the mask.
