I'm not great with color. I learned a lot doing the CMYK Tutorial, but I couldn't see the settings Bill E. Goat used when getting his red and blue layers for the skin color. I eyeballed it the best I could, and was satisfied with my results, but I'd like to know what settings were used in the tut.

Red - Hue is at Maximum, Saturation is at 40% , Lightness is 0

Blue - Hue is at 230 approx, Saturation is again at 40%. Lightness is 0

down2earth2 even I cannot read the settings I had the Hedy Lamarr at :-) , its really not an exact science the way I see setting the 3 tones you can try diff. tones of yellow and red and end up with equally good results.

I have been experimenting a little and with the image below for the skin tones I didn't use a blue toned Hue/Saturation layer at all, so maybe it's possible to do away with that layer all together. I'll have to do a few more images to see if this can be done.

Excuse the shoddy neck and eyelash render but I was concerned with fleshtones only on this image.
