Okay everybody, let's do the chicken dance with Elmo! Naaaahhh...let's play a movie quotation game! The first person submits a quotation from a well known movie. Now remember...WELL KNOWN MOVIE! Nothing obscure and impossible to figure out. The first person who guess the movie then submits a quote of their own...and on and on. Anyone interested in playing? I'll start with my quote....

"Iíll never forget the way you looked going over the falls -- head up, chin out, hair blowing in the wind -- the living picture of a heroine."

Okay....GO!

Dave

Humphrey Bogart "The African Queen" :)

Hold on ..... here ya go :)

"Three times is enemy action."

Silky

"Once is Happenstance. Twice is Coincidence. The third time it's Enemy action!"

Is this what you mean? :)

Dave
04/18/2004, 10:49 AM
Yup, that's the one :)

Silky
04/18/2004, 10:55 AM
Hehe...you MISQUOTED!! And it's Goldfinger. :)

And here's the next quote...

"Your request is not unlike your lower intestine--stinking and loaded with danger."

Dave
04/18/2004, 11:04 AM
Just slight differences in interpretation : -

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls
-Your request is not unlike your lower intestine. Stinky and full of danger.
-My, aren't I the popular one?

And the next one is :-

Nobody's perfect. Well, almost nobody.

Silky

Boy, I'm stumped....:) We may have to let someone else figure this one out. I haven't given up yet...but it's not gonna be easy. :)

"You've got me. Who has got you?"

Now I want names as well :)

Silky

That one I know....Superman. Lois Lane to Superman when he catches her when she's falling through the air. The other one...I can't remember...is it Lois talking about Superman?

Dave
04/18/2004, 11:48 AM
The first quote is from Lex Luthor "There's a strong streak of good in you, Superman. But then nobody's perfect. Well almost nobody"

The second quote goes :-
Superman: Easy, miss. I've got you.
Lois Lane: You've got me? Who has got you?

Silky
04/18/2004, 11:59 AM

This is too easy. :)

Back later! Ta ta!

Dave

Another quote, same movie :-

The surprising thing is that the internal components were quite simple to produce. The outer features took much longer to perfect but of course in the end it's just another form of mask making.

Silky's not thinking, someone will kick themselves .... or is it just me that rates this movie so highly to think it's well known.

Okay .... the original quote comes right at the end of the movie and is spoken on a rising crescendo to an absolute panicked scream "Turn It off! Stop it! Stop It!! Stop It!!! Stop it!!!! STOP IT!!!!!"
