Very nice it was too!

Ahh, that'll be why then. I'm one of those 'Adams or Pratchett' types, I never really got into Pratchett.

Took me a while to get into reading Pratchett at first, my brother had built up quite a collection before I forced myself to read the first novel, I was immediately hooked.

As for Douglas Adams, my old boss Eric put me onto him when the HHGTTG was first being broadcast on the radio, I love his stuff! :)

I missed the radio series first time round, I started with the TV series and went on to the books and then the radio series.

Dave

Were you even born when the first radio series aired?

Discworld .... READ IT! There is so much wonderfully funny stuff.

Yes, I was 10! :)

I will read it one day, I found all the annotations distracting though.

Grillef bacon? What's that ? some sort of UK bastardization of a breakfast? How's it made?

I... don't do breakfast. Havent' had breakfast in over 15 years.

I must admit, breakfast is certainly something I don't take seriously, hell I don't have time for it, too busy reading the forums :)

The only time I really have breakfast regularly, is when I'm away somewhere.

If you are referring to our honeymoon in Prague then that's not strictly true - we had LUNCH for breafast everyday! No matter what time they serve it, cheese 'n salami will always be lunch to me! :)

That's true. I suppose it's pennance for all the times I ate Corn Flakes in the afternoon :)

It seems you can get that for breakfast in any hotel across the world apart from here in the U.K..

In Greece it went wonderfully well with fresh bread rolls and soft poached eggs .... the "bacon" was so deep in warm grease it was simply dreadful. I also 'discovered' low fat fresh Greek yoghurt and fruit cocktail .... HEAVEN!
