Competition comments

Hey there, not sure that I am posting this in the right section....

Please could someone clarify something for me. I have just been looking at comments on the contest entries. Is it not compulsory to make a comment? Some of them only have a couple of comments to them - I trawl through the lot and I was wondering if I was the only one that does this? I am assuming that this means that they were still voted on though.

Thanks TrinityOfOne, I really started thumb-sucking comments while voting on the latest colour one.... found it very difficult - it is nice to know that it isn't compulsory.

Just if you do comment make it positive and or constructive, simple complementary is fine too.

thanks so much libra, I do try to give constructive criticism (that is one weird word to spell), I hope I do not get carried away. If I do, please do not take my comments too personally. I sometimes feel a bit weird leaving comments, knowing that the image I am viewing could have been done by a very advanced user.

I like the idea of the author comments stating "PLS DO NOT GIVE CRITIQUE", as that will save time, and allow more time to help people who request it.
