Mine's been mostly hard work!
I produced 80 pairs of hand-decorated candles today, phew!...
I then spent a very difficult couple of hours quaffing champagne!
My friend Alexi re-launched her underwear shop 'Read My Lips' today - it is now offically an 'erotic boutique' - so a group of us ended up sat on the floor polishing off the champagne and cake after work and a jolly time was had by all! *hic!*
She's asked me to work there part-time - this will mean dressing up in uniforms (french maid, nurse etc) to encourage the customers to get into the spirit of things! I'm in 2 minds about this - i don't think the world is ready for Naughty Nurse Jewels yet! ;)
So, what have the rest of you been up to? :)
edit: Jewels, I'm just testing some tag editing...not the content of your post. :)

It's been a crappy day all around for me. Nothing is going right...and the longer the day progresses, the bluer I'm feeling. Bleh...I hate days like this!
It's been a miserable rainy day in Birmigham since the early hours of this morning and it's still raining now .... not very conducive to being bright eyed, bouncy and bushy tailed. But the day seems to have passed by quickly enough for me anyway. I've nothing better to do than be here .... but what better could there be?
Jewels, Jewels .... where is this shop of naughtiness? WHERE!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
Silky .... anything I can do to help take those blues away? .... I'm sad now :(

Sorry to hear about the weather Dave - it's been gorgeously sunny and hot down nere - a proper summers day! :)
This shop of naughtiness (love it!) is in Lewes (near Brighton) - do visit next time you are in this neck of the woods - you are gaurunteed a friendly welcome! :)
Part of the recent expansion has been to start offering make-overs,hair and nail extensions etc - as well as facials, reflexology and massage etc! The idea is that ladies can come in for a real pampering experience as well as stocking up on their undies and vibrators etc!!
(Silk - wish you were here, we could have had a girly day and got massaged and made-up and bought ridiculously sexy underwear to chase your blues away!)
But....we've realised that offering a MASSAGE service in this kind of shop could make advertising tricky - can you imagine some of the people who might come in expecting a very different kind of experience altogether?!? ;)
The fact they'd be greeted by a member of staff dressed as a french maid really would not help with the confusion! :D

This shop sounds wonderful .... I'm pretty certain you wouldn't get planning permission in our backward (City motto is "Forward") little hamlet for anything like what you describe .... heck they cause enough grief for Ann Summers shops!
So is this shop just for the ladies or does it have the sort of stuff men like to wear or read?
I'll be looking the place up if I ever get down that way you can bet on it!

Jewels, that sounds so yummy...I'd love that! I think that would probably help getting the blues out of my day.
Thanks to everyone, also, for the offers of hugs. I'll be fine....I promise. :)

It's amazing its survived this long here - Lewes is the ultimate posh, ye quaint olde worlde town full of fine up-standing middle-class citizens! In any written mention of the place you can bet it's prefixed with "the historic County Town of..." Blaaah!
But there you go, this is the noughties and even the good housewives of Lewes are admitting they like to dress up like lap-dancers and get their rocks off!
:D

So far it's really just been aimed at the ladies - but i'll keep you posted!
Men are certainly not banned - there's a local chap who comes in once a week to feed his satin fetish - he just comes in and stands happily stroking the satin nighties!!!!
As for stuff that men like to wear - all depends if you like wearing womens underwear i guess!!!
:D
