How about for those who have cameras to enter a simple,or not so simple, portrait. In fact have two seperate contest, One for a studio TYPE portrait and the other as a portrait of yourself shot by yourself. I'm not talking about a simple snapshot of yourself, somthing where the background, lighting and composition where all thought out.


Give me your thoughts! What do you think?

Sounds like a good idea. If we get enough photographers who reply here that they'd be interested, I'll be happy to run it. The problem we've had in the past is that unless the photography contest is general enough (like the animals contest), a lot of photographers don't enter the contests unless they have a photo already available. I'd love to have photography contests where we have a lot of entries...but so far, if the contests are a little difficult, they get very few entries. :)
