Adobe released an update for Illustrator CS yesterday. It's reported to fix some crashing issues.

Hey - that's an update for Macs. I didn't see one for windows. Does that mean windows didn't have the problem?

oops sorry.. yeah it's for MAcs only. I don't think the windows version had the same crashing issues as the Mac version did. (although it always worked fine on my systems)

This is the new release that helps 'create' crashes ;)

Oh, works fine on PC, but crashes on Mac...hmmm:)

(Us PC guys have to get our digs in when we can get them...not often enough I might add.)
