I wish I had a video of my conversation with my boss a minute ago....
He's a good ol' New Yorker -good ol' boy who looks and talks like he might have ties with the mafia. He walked in to the break room and said, "waddya smilin' at?" Still smiling I said, "I'm just so in love with you."
That stopped him in his tracks and usually he's always got a comeback. I was chuckling and he said, "look at how red you are."
My response: "I'm just giddy with joy."
Behind the scenes, you should know, he's a little displeased with me not working overtime these days. And that conversation was followed with his observation of my hours the last two weeks. Can you say apathetic? Yep, that's me!
