This is going to be my first Landscape painting using Painter 7. It's a concept I drew up last week while being bored. I do not have a Wacom yet so I'm painting with my mouse. Sooo Itsss goinggg tooo beee slowww goinggg. Let me know what you think of the idea. It's a non traditional Castle built within the side of a cliff. The two notches you see on top of the cliff will have a waterfall cascading down. I'll keep posting as I progress.
Thanks.

I'm sorry Trin, I didn't meen to say I sketched this in Painter cause I didn't. I free handed it and scanned it. Sorry for the confusion.

I look forward to the image development.

The initial drawing alone looks good enough for a book illustration for a Tolkien style adventure.

This is superb work for a mouse. If you ever get a tablet you're heading straight to art heaven.

Wow, nice sketch...I really like the perspective, and you even have an arch under the long span of support, good engineering, look forward to seeing your progress. Maybe you could upload the basic progression so we could use it as a tutorial. Nice work dschmittle!

This is really cool. I love the depth you've given at that perspective. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the WIP too. :)
