View Full Version : Hard for my browser to read some of the lighter text.

When signing up, and in various other places, such as the top of this box where it reads "Message:" and the box above where it reads "Title" I can not read the text unless I highlight it. I had a tough time when I signed up, I kept having to highlight the whole screen to make sure I wasn't missing anything. It may be due to my having a (nowadays) ancient browser.. IE 5.0, running on Win98. Or maybe you are just trying to hide stuff from me. :(
I do see some stuff just fine, I only have the problem on the lavender backgrounds.

Or old eyes...;)

I have IE 6 and see things fine, but we will DEFINITELY do some adjusting so everyone can see it...old eyes or not. :)

D2.. is it because the text and background are just too close in color?

Like when you post a reply.. on the right it reads "logged in as Dsquared" is all of that hard to read or just your username?

Logged in as Dsquared shows up just fine, it is probably just the closeness of colors. Or my old eyes.

hmm... "title" "message" and "logged in as" are all black. Your username is a purple. I'll see about lightening the backgrounds.

Is it any better now D2?

A teensy bit, Jolt. I sent a screen shot to the webmaster addy for you to see.
I'll be back a bit later, dinner and a shower are enticing me away at the moment. I'm sure you guys will appreciate the shower part!

Well that's odd.... the text in the screenshot should be black. It's set to black.. it's black here when I go to that page. Any chance it's a browser error D2? Maybe clear the cache or shift-Refresh?

I don't think it was a cache problem because I noticed the problem at work too. I'm going in today, so I'll look and see what they are running there.

Ok, I'm at work. Looks just like the screen shot I sent you. This machine is running the same as my home... IE 5.0 on Win98.
