Virus

Hi
The problem that I am facing is that when I connect to the internet a warning appears at random and asks me to save my work as the system is gonna shut down in about 60 seconds and a timer starts to function. And at exact 60 seconds the system shuts down. I know that this is a virus. If anyone could tell me how to overcome this problem I would be thankful.

Is it Windows 2000/XP? If so, you have the Welchia or Blaster virus, you can remove it with Stinger (http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/) or by using Symantec's removal tools (http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/tools.list.html)
