I just downloaded the 15 day free trial and I must admit, the app is pretty friggin' good. It obviously wasn't made to replace Illustrator but it can certainly prove useful to the new vector user that wants to find out more and learn about beziers in a less intimidating arena. New users to vector are sure to feel a lot more comfortable with this baby than the powerhouse Illustrator or Freehand. Plus it costs $179 for the full version.

I see it representing the pro-sumer vector market in much the same way Photoshop Elements has snatched away the pro-sumer photo-editing market.

But the most interesting part is the gallery.

I've heard a lot of good things about Xara. Never used it and I probably won't though. No Mac version.
